These majestic structures are located in Tepui, Venezuela. The word “Tepui” means “home of the gods” in the ancient language of the Pemon people of Gran Sabana, and we can understand why. These mysterious mountains are typically found as isolated entities and not connected by ranges. Climbing one would be quite a task. Many of the tepuis have vertical flanks and sit as high as 3,280 feet above the surrounding jungle.
